For the first time in its history, Jordan will be holding its very own Food Week, starting in 2018!
Bringing the world of Jordanian cuisine to new levels of authenticity and innovation simultaneously, JFW will showcase the diversity of the Kingdom’s traditional culinary delicacies, emphasizing the homemade quality and unadulterated taste of homegrown pride, while putting new spins on old favorites and creating new experiences for taste buds across Jordan.
Take part in Jordan Food Week’s activities and be introduced to a diverse range of traditional recipes passed down through the generations. Seize the opportunity to participate in a journey to re-discover rare and forgotten recipes, still preserved by Jordanians living in the most remote and rural villages, as well as being able to savor innovative gastronomic experiences, that highlight ingenious twists on traditional Jordanian cuisine.
The main food fair will feature over 150 Jordanian artisanal food producers and restaurants from across Jordan, selling and showcasing their locally sourced and made products. Cooking classes and activities will also be held to acquaint attendees with Jordanian recipes, and teach them how to reproduce the meals at home, ultimately immersing them in the taste of Jordan.
